        摘要:  In this talk, I will discuss the idea of wave packet decomposition, and some basic properties of wave packets. Some simple examples will be given to show how wave packet decomposition can be applied to study the operators in harmonic analysis, such as the Fourier restriction operators.

        摘要:  In this talk, I will introduce the method of polynomial partitioning by introducing an example from [Guth, AMS, 2016]. This example will show how polynomial partitioning can be applied to solve a joint problem from incidence geometry, and during which one can sketch the original idea of applications of polynomial partitioning in harmonic analysis.
